YYC Juventas and Montenegrin Association against AIDS – CAZAS, under the support of Imperial College from London, within the regional project for South- Eastern Europe, are implementing the project "Open with prisoners!”
Project started with its implementation in September 2004 and in its first year of realization lasted till June 2005. Activities within the project are divided in several phases.
The first, preparation phase, was aimed to get a clear insight into the needs when it comes to HIV prevention among target groups. This part of the program was completed with the report on the needs and the most convenient form of non-formal education for the benefit of prevention, treatment and protection.
The next phase was dedicated to the trainings of staff of above mentioned institutions and volunteers dedicated to education on HIV/AIDS, so as to development of info-packs aimed to the target group.
The most important, last phase of first year of realization of this project was direct work with target groups through set of workshops and distribution of info-packs.
