Within the “Psycho-social help and support to persons living with HIV/AIDS” project, supported by The Royal Netherlands Embassy in Belgrade, the training for psychologists and social workers has been held. The project lasts from June 2008. - May 2009.
Twenty participants, mainly psychologists and social workers from The Center for Social Work, but also high school and elementary school psychologists from all of Montenegro, attended the training. Training facilitators were eminent experts in the area of fight against HIV/AIDS in Montenegro, PhD Nenad Draškovic, from Infective clinic of KBC in Podgorica and PhD Aleksandra Marjanovic, social medicine specialist in Montenegro’s Institute for Public Health. Lecturing “Legal aspect of HIV/AIDS” was held by Zoran Radonjic, lawyer from Podgorica.
Within the project, in future, we will organize group and individual support meetings with persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).
